We had an amazing meeting this past Saturday. The topic of discussion was “Philosophy: Success” and our presenter for the day was Rolando. Success was defined as “the accomplishment of a particular goal or purpose.” We were informed that anyone can become successful, regardless of their situation. Rolando also gave a group a sneak peek into the philosophy of Jean Paul Sartre, a French existentialist. Below were our discussion questions:
- Who do you admire?
- What qualities make them admirable?
- How are we living in bad faith? Give Examples.
- What are some of your goals? How can they become a reality?
A big shout out to Rolando for an extraordinary presentation.
Our next meeting: 10am Sat, Mar 4 at Our Lady of Loretto Church.
Have a wonderful week!
