Last Sunday, our Idente Youth Teens in Hempstead, Long Island hosted their very first Athenaeum (a cultural and artistic gathering) in Our Lady of Loretto Church. Our teens from Hempstead enthusiastically welcomed our Idente Youth members who traveled from the Bronx and from Brentwood, Long Island. The teens shared their talents with family and friends through music, dance, and skits. Special thanks to everyone who joined us last Sunday and for making it special! Idente Youth members in Brentwood, Long Island (pictured above), volunteered at St. Luke's Bible Camp from Monday, August 3 to Friday, August 7, where over 120 kids from pre-k to 6th grade engaged in various activities including sports and arts and crafts. There were over 80 teens in middle and high school who volunteered. Pictured below are just some of our Idente Youth members who assisted and a group photo of the teen volunteers. We hope to see new members from the camp at this Wednesday's meeting! "NEVER SEE A NEED WITHOUT TRYING TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT." - SAINT MARY MACKILLOP © 2015 Idente Youth U.S.
