Our IY Teens watched the documentary, "The Human Experience." Two brothers from Brooklyn go on a journey to find the true meaning of life. They live with the homeless in the cold winter of NYC and then they later visit a home in Lima, Peru for children who were abused and abandoned. The teens learned how we can find the true meaning of our lives when we serve others in need. Part two of the documentary coming up next week! Join us Next Thursday at 5:00pm at Saint Dominic's!

What is good communication? Our teens discussed how the key to many relationships (with parents, teachers, friends, etc.) is great communication. Sometimes we fail to consider the feelings of others when we communicate, or we place ourselves at the center of the conversation. Our teens shared how they plan to improve their communication this week by being better listeners and seeking the best for others, even if it requires sacrificing what they prefer. We also welcome Blangie and Sahory, our newest Idente Youth participants! |
