Our Idente Youth Teens watched a film, ‘Homeless to Harvard’ together, a true story of a girl from the Bronx who overcame many obstacles. Despite living homeless without her parents who neglected her, she worked hard to attend and excel in high school, and eventually enter Harvard University on a full scholarship. Our teens learned from the film that it is important to have someone in our life who guide us in the right path. They also shared that we are more than our difficult circumstances and with God's help, we can overcome them and become stronger. Beginning this week, our teens meeting (6th to 11th grade) will move to a new day and time: Saturdays from 11:00am to 12:30pm at St. Dominic's. For Idente Youth Kids (3rd to 5th grade) there will be no change in their weekly meetings.
