HOMELESSNESS...

Hey Everyone!
 
Thank you so much for attending today’s meeting. We discussed on the topic of “Homelessness.” Nathalie made the presentation, and then we had our guests Marianne Sheridan and Joanne Buonocore share with us the “Midnight Run” project. We were informed of the reality of homelessness in NY and strongly urged to look at homeless people differently. The video we watched showed us how we as a society ignore these people, our goal as young people should be to make these homeless people visible. I all begins by doing little things, like stopping and greeting them, making eye contact,  talking with them, and, if possible, giving them something material.
