Giving...

Hey Everyone!
 
We had a great time last Saturday at the group. Two different locations, two different meetings. What do we mean ? IY had the weekly meeting at the church, and at the same time were at the Diocesan Youth Day in St. Elizabeth Church, Melville. If you didn’t know, this is called “BI-LOCATION.”
 
At the weekly meeting our topic of discussion was “Giving” (Eg: Alms Giving). We saw how this action is engrained in other religious philosophies. At the diocesan youth day, we had the popular catholic speaker and beat boxer Paul J Kim talk about the two most important life questions: who am I? And What is my purpose in life? Bishop Nelson Perez (Diocese of Rockville Center)celebrated the mass, and in his homily preached about changing (evangelizing, being Christ like for the other) one person at a time.
