What am I listening to..?

Hey Friends!
 
Thank you to everyone that made it to last Saturday’s meeting. The topic of discussion was “Music: The effects of music lyrics and video’s on teens.” We learnt that the music we listen to is correlated with our behaviours and attitudes. Today’s music lyrics, especially genres like rap, heavy metal, rock, and regaeton, have become more explicit in their reference to drugs, sex, and violence.
 
Let us as young people be more cautious and aware of the music we listen to.
 
Our next IY meeting will be at 10am Sat, 9 Jan.
