![]() Hey Friends, Thank you to all of you that made it to today’s special IY meeting hosted to welcome the confirmation students. The topic of discussion was “Creativity.” We worked in groups to come up with creative solutions to the problem – “How to get commuters in a subway station to use the stairs more than the escalator,” and act out physical objects and actions in the “Human Object” activity. We also heard an inspiring talk by Julie Burstien, who through her stories highlighted the importance of embracing four aspects of our life in order to allow creativity to flourish. Embrace your CELL (Challenges, Experience, Limitations, Loss) For creativity to flourish [requires] the embrace of loss, the oldest and most constant of human experiences. - Julie Burstien, Author of "Spark: How Creativity Works" Our next IY meeting is on Sat, Jun 11 at 10am in our usual location (Lower Rectory). Have a wonderful weekend!
